General Terms of Delivery G. Pohl-Boskamp GmbH & Co. for Hohenlockstedt and Dägeling

 

1. Introduction/Applicability

The G. Pohl-Boskamp GmbH & Co. KG ("Pohl-Boskamp”) general terms of delivery shall guarantee a smooth reception process on delivery by forwarding company. The following delivery terms must therefore be observed.

2. Delivery locations

Pohl-Boskamp has multiple shipping addresses:

a) Kieler Str. 11, 25551 Hohenlockstedt Germany
b) Kaddenbusch 4, 25578 Dägeling Germany
c) Kaddenbusch 5, 25578 Dägeling Germany
d) Kaddenbusch 11, 25578 Dägeling Germany
e) Eichenweg 8, 25578 Dägeling Germany

The Purchasing & Materials Management Department specifies the exact shipping addresses in the purchase orders.

3. Delivery times

Unless otherwise agreed with the Purchasing & Materials Management Department, receiving hours are: 

Monday to Thursday: 7 am to 12 pm and 12:30 pm to 3 pm
Friday: 7 am to 12 pm

Company premises must be exited 30 minutes after delivery hours end at the latest. 

4. Company rules 

Traffic is only permitted on the intended and designated roadways and areas of the company premises. The German road traffic regulations (StVO) apply. The prescribed maximum speed on the premises is 10 km/h. Parking vehicles and trailers on the premises and along the access road is prohibited.

Loading and unloading on company premises is exclusively carried out by company staff, using company vehicles. 

5. Cargo packing, shipping and labeling requirements 

All goods must be delivered on like-new Euro pallets (dimensions 1,200 mm x 800 mm); exceptions are BigBags on industrial pallets (also like new) and IBCs. Over tolerances of goods per pallet side are not permitted. Exceptions must be coordinated with the Purchasing & Materials Management Department prior to first delivery.

The goods shall be packaged so as to prevent transport damage. The seller's obligation to take back packaging is based on the statutory provisions and our GTC.

The maximum height of cargo incl. Euro pallet must not exceed 1,600 mm. The weight of cargo incl. Euro pallet must not exceed 700 kg (exceptions: BigBags and IBCs).

Individual containers (boxes, barrels, etc.) on the pallet must not exceed a weight of 15 kg. The number of containers on the pallet and the quantity inside each container should be as consistent as possible. Exceptions must be coordinated with our Purchasing & Materials Management Department prior to first delivery.

Each unit must, at a minimum, be labelled with:

  • Customer: G. Pohl-Boskamp GmbH & Co. KG
  • Supplier: Supplier name
  • Supplier material number
  • Pohl-Boskamp material number
  • Material designation
  • Supplier batch designation
  • Quantity
  • Box number


Each pallet must at a minimum be labelled with: 

  • Purchase order/job number:
  • Customer: G. Pohl-Boskamp GmbH & Co. KG
  • Pohl-Boskamp material number
  • Material designation
  • Pallet number
  • Total number of pallets
  • Number of units on pallet
     

6. Shipping documents

The supplier’s job/purchase order and line item numbers and Pohl-Boskamp’ purchase order, line item and material number, along with the quantity, must be indicated on all documents. If applicable, also list the date of manufacture of the batches and batch number. Partial deliveries/balances from an order/batch must be clearly indicated as such in the shipping documents.

If the proper accompanying documents are missing, delivery may be refused.

7. Liability

Delivery may be refused for violations against the delivery terms or imminent danger to personnel due to improper delivery. Any arising costs shall be borne by the seller/carrier.

If goods are accepted despite violation of the delivery terms, any expenses incurred for our employees’ additional work (e.g. packing the pallet) shall be paid by the seller/carrier.
